Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the services of ClearCanopy Mankato Tree Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.
Services Provided
ClearCanopy Mankato Tree Service provides tree removal, tree trimming and pruning, stump grinding, emergency tree removal, hazardous tree removal, land clearing, cabling and bracing, and storm cleanup services. All services are subject to site evaluation and may require adjustments based on safety considerations, weather conditions, or property access limitations.
Estimates and Pricing
We provide free estimates for most services. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date provided. Final pricing may vary if site conditions differ from those observed during the initial estimate. Emergency services may be priced differently due to the urgent nature and timing of the work.
Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements have been made in writing. We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards. A deposit may be required for large projects. Late payments may be subject to interest charges of 1.5% per month or the maximum allowed by law.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
You may cancel or reschedule services by contacting us at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. We reserve the right to reschedule services due to weather conditions, equipment issues, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Property Access and Preparation
You are responsible for ensuring clear access to the work area and for removing or protecting any items that could be damaged during service. This includes outdoor furniture, decorations, vehicles, and other personal property. We will make reasonable efforts to protect your property, but we are not responsible for damage to items left in the work area.
Permits and Regulations
You are responsible for obtaining any necessary permits required by local authorities for tree removal or other services. We can assist with information about permit requirements, but the final responsibility lies with the property owner. We comply with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations in our work.
Liability and Insurance
ClearCanopy Mankato Tree Service carries general liability insurance and workers compensation insurance. We are not liable for damage to underground utilities, sprinkler systems, or other hidden infrastructure that was not identified before work began. We are not responsible for the condition of trees after pruning, as this depends on many factors beyond our control.
Debris and Wood Removal
Unless otherwise specified in your service agreement, we will remove all debris and wood generated from our work. If you wish to keep firewood or wood chips, please inform us before work begins. Additional charges may apply for disposal of materials containing nails, hardware, or other hazardous materials.
Warranty and Guarantee
We guarantee that all work will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner. If you are not satisfied with our work, please contact us within 7 days of service completion so we can address your concerns. We do not guarantee the health or survival of trees after pruning, as this depends on many factors beyond our control.
Safety
During service, we ask that you and your family members, including pets, remain inside or at a safe distance from the work area. Tree work involves heavy equipment and falling debris that can be dangerous. We will establish safety zones and ask that you respect them for your protection.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
